Best Bakla I’ve had since moving to Florida and my wife is part Lebanese. So full of flavor and the schwarma sandwich is amazing. Best value for your in Mt Dora. Come here when you are in town.
A hidden gem in Mount Dora Marketplace! We had the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and a Gyro which were both delicious and came with hummus. The hummus was excellent as well, and paired perfectly with both wraps. If you don’t like pickles, I would stay away from the chicken shawarma but that wasn’t a problem for me. The gyro had a delicious tzatziki sauce and lots of veggies. Definitely check this place out if you’re in downtown.

My husband surprised me by taking me on a mid-week spontaneous lunch date in downtown Mount Dora. We were craving Lebanese food and decided to give Beirut Bites a try - and my oh my, it sure did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken gyro while my husband had the lamb gyro. I literally closed my eyes when I took my first bite because it was THAT good! I’ve attached a photo of my meal, but truthfully, photos don’t do it justice. My husband raved about the lamb gyro, which I didn’t get to try, but I’m sure it was wonderful. Very friendly service as well. The baklava was incredibly delicious too! We will surely be back!
Very cravable delicious food. The chef and server was kind, friendly and very competent. I had the Beirut platter which had almost everything on the menu. Perfection on a plate. My husband had the kafta kabob and he was equally impressed. Highly recommend. I would have given the atmosphere a higher rating, but I am not fond of the indoor/outdoor seating. We will return many more times.

The food is well prepared, flavorful and served at very reasonable prices. We ordered a falafel wrap, a regular falafel plate, a chicken shawarma wrap, tabbouleh, baba ghanoush, hummus with pita bread and an espresso. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the shawarma had great seasoning. The baba ghanoush and hummus were smooth and tasty, perfect with the fresh pita. The tabbouleh was fresh and zesty. The atmosphere was cozy and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Been looking for good Greek food in the area, and they’re surprisingly scarce. This place perfectly met my falafel craving, the food was well-seasoned, so flavorful and the sauces were delicious. Super fulfilling and refreshing meal. Definitely incorporating this into our go-to restaurants!
